Santosh Mitra Square Durga Puja

Santosh Mitra Square, which is celebrating Durga Puja for more than 86 years, is unquestionably recognised as one of the top Durga Puja in Kolkata. They are famous for their unique Durga Puja pandal theme. Santosh Mitra Square is also commonly known as Lebutala Park.

In 2017, this Puja Committee chose the London theme for their pandal and quickly rose to fame, in which the goddess Durga was shown in a Pandal resembling Buckingham Palace.

In 2021 this puja committee chose the Swami Narayan Temple as their pandal theme.

The committee has chosen to do something different this year as well that will draw a sizeable crowd. This year puja committee chose the “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” as their pandal theme and the visitors can see the India Gate, Red Fort and Parliament House in their pandal theme.
