Newtown Sarbojanin Durgotsav
Kolkata’s Newtown got its first “Sarbojanin Durga Puja” and it is to be held at City Square ground of Newtown, adjacent to Clock Tower.
Dr. Urmila Sen, president of Newtown Sarbojanin Durgotsav Samiti informed that this is the first sarbojanin durga puja of the Newtown Area and they are organising this puja to provide a boost to tourism, culture and shopping of the Newtown smart city.
She also informed that the theme of this year’s Durga Puja will be Narishaktir Jagaran (Awakening of Women Power) and the Khuti Puja has been done on 13th July, 2022.
